Etsuko Tsuri (Anna)
Artistic Director
Over the past 10 years she has been the Director, Lighting Designer and Production Designer for more than 10 own productions in Vienna, Berlin, Riga, New York and Tokyo. Her additional working experience encompass 80 productions at international opera houses and theaters include the Vienna State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, Komische Oper Berlin, Bayreuth Festival for Young Artist, Théâtre du Soleil à Paris, Bregenz Festival, Dortmund Opera House and Opera Nomori Tokyo. www.annaetsukotsuri.com
Alexis Kandra
Residence Artist
Visual artist Alexis Kandra graduated from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia with a BFA in Painting in 2013.
Since moving to New York a year ago, she has created and exhibited paintings and sculptures, and taken part in many theater productions. Most recently, she was the prop designer for the Washington DC production of the opera Noli Me Tangere at The Kennedy Center in August 2014. Currently, she is working on set design for a new opera written by Kento Iwasaki titled Beloved Prey, which is inspired by and incorporates Kandra’s large scale animal diorama paintings.
