About the Opera “Mr. Cork and Bottles":

“Mr. Cork and bottles” is a heart-warming opera intended to delight the widest possible people, all ages and all language speakers.

It is based on the beloved story “The Town Musicians of Bremen” by the Brothers Grimm. We have developed the story to come up with a major character, a stressful city life and a love story, as well as an ethical opera in which those neglected in society regain their confidence and enjoy their lives again.

Great story, appealing characters, beautiful music and no difficulty of languages should help make this delightful opera into the creation of a new opera genre, and it might be the key to brightening opera’s future. And you can be part of it!!

“Mr. Cork and Bottles” is the twisted tale of the main character Mr. Cork, who is a good-natured, weak-willed man working in a bottle factory. In addition to the main character, the cast includes his new pals: Irry, a very young orphan who lives on the street; Susuto, a stutterer who is bullied by his schoolmates; and Rena, an elegant lady who has a physical disability on her leg; Okami, the ill-natured, his crazy superviser at the bottle factory.
